Meade is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC009545-Georgia) and also a Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2012, and her professional memberships include the American Counseling Association and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.

 

Meade works from a person-centered perspective with the belief that each person has the ability to guide their own path toward their goals to wellness and recovery. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components for facilitating change, and she provides an empathic, genuine, and nonjudgmental space to build a trusting and collaborative relationship with her clients. Her goal is to begin by meeting you where you are in your journey toward change and healing.

 

She has experience working with clients of different sexual orientations, gender identities, and age groups. In addition to working in a private practice setting, she offers individual and group therapy at a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient eating disorder treatment facility. 

 

Meade utilizes an integration of theories and techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, and existential therapy.
